This past Wednesday at 12:00 noon marked the beginning of the 2015 General Assembly Session. The official gaveling-in always arrives before we know it. And, at times, before our offices are ready for it. This year, we have relocated offices in order to offer more gathering and meeting space for our constituents and other visitors. We are still adjusting to the new setting, but are extremely grateful for the opportunity this provides us to better serve our district while in Session.
The 2015 Virginia General Assembly convened at 12:00 noon today! Anyone interested is able to view the live proceedings by clicking on this link.
Prefiling of legislation ended at 10:00 a.m. this morning. (There will be a few more bills submitted, in the coming days.) Our office is grateful for the many constituents and community organizations that brought their ideas and concerns to us, that helped shape most of our legislation for this year.
We appreciate your continued support and involvement. Thank you for the privilege of public service!
